If only people knew some of the history of the Sheriff's Dept., back in the Good 'Ol Boy" Regime days. Especially when Ken Autry was in charge of the Narcotics Division. The days when the FBI invesigated them. A certain former Investigator ran his mouth, so I ran my tape recorder and kept a journal. Mr. Bryan, been trying to contact you, if you get to read this, pls. leave a contact no. This info. may help your case.

Sheriff sues for $3 million and wins $6? Give me a break, defamation of character??? He could have killed the sherriff and wouldn't have had to give up that much. Our legal system is out of control and a judgement of 30K to 50K may have been in order. $6 million. Utterly rediculous. A common person with the same lawsuit would have been thrown out. What makes the sheriffs charactor worth so much and how can you demonstrate that much damage. Your story is why I sometimes hate to watch the news.

Good luck getting any money. The station will fold and Ryan B doesn't have that kind of money I am sure. So it may just be a moral victory for the sheriff. But the whole thing was a joke
