Updated: 11/21/2014 - A Richmond County teacher is behind bars, accused of assaulting a middle school student. News 12 was in court when a judge issued an arrest warrant for 62-year-old Sam Arazie. The judge did allow Arazie to surrender to deputies with a charge of simple assault. For the first time since 12 On Your Side started investigating the alleged attack, we are hearing the teacher's side.

Updated: 11/20/2014 - A lot of us might ask our friends or co-workers for a referral when we are looking to hire someone to work on our home. So you might think a company in the business of referring contractors would be even better than word of mouth. That is what one Augusta homeowner said when she turned to the website HomeAdvisor.com. It put her in contact with a contractor who turned out to be an ex-con.

Updated: 11/19/2014 - An ex-con concrete contractor at the center of a News 12 investigation last year, is out on parole and once again being accused of not finishing work he was paid to do. Cornelius White has a long criminal history that includes numerous counts of theft-by-deception and forgery. The latest On Your Side investigation uncovers how a possible loophole in the law could keep White from facing more jail time.

Consumer group lists '10 worst toys' for kids

Updated: 11/20/2014 - Many toys, he said, continue to have the same hazardous designs, including small, detachable parts that infants can choke on; strings that can cause strangulation; dangerous projectiles; and misleading or confusing warning labels and instructions.

While substitute teacher Sam Arazie has a pending court date in the most recent case, News 12 has obtained documents showing a pattern of complaints going back more than 20 years.

Updated: 11/03/2014 - Walmart is hiring 95 employees for the new Augusta Neighborhood Market which will open this winter, the company said in a release. Full-time and part-time positions will be available, Walmart said.
