AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A local woman found herself on not one but two websites promoting weight loss products. Now she is warning you not to believe everything you read.

Heather Fearneyhough knows what it takes to get into shape. She lost nearly 145 pounds and did it the good old-fashioned way.

"You can't achieve results by any other way except good old-fashion hard work," Fearneyhough said.

You can only imagine how angry she was when she found her before and after pictures on a website promoting products she never used.

"I pulled up the website and I was like oh my gosh! There was a picture of me," she said.

A friend sent her a link to a juicing website. The website had her before and after pictures and her testimony.

"There is an entire story written and they had said I had lost 145 pounds and come off of insulin using their product," Fearneyhough said.

Not only has she never been on insulin, but she has also never used the product.

Fearneyhough did a Web search and again she found pictures of herself promoting yet another weight loss tool.

"My name is 'Laura' on this website they said I was 36 years old," the 24-year-old woman said.

Fearneyhough is angry strangers stole her story and her image, most likely from Facebook, to create lies.

She wrote an email to the juicing company.

"All I got in response is, 'Oh, sorry about that. Someone sent in your weight loss story," she said.

However, the juicing company did remove her pictures from the website.

She's had no luck so far getting her image removed from the other website which appears to be international.

"It's just con artists looking to steal your money," Fearneyhough warned. "People need to be careful. You can't believe things you read on the Internet -- and if it seems to good to be true, it really is too good to be true."
