Aiken residents put on boil water advisory after 2 water main breaks

AIKEN, S.C. -- Some Aiken residents have been placed on a boil water advisory for the next 24 hours.

The city issued the warning after two water main breaks.

The first happened in the Deerwood neighborhood and affects residents from Pine Log Road to Troon Way. The second happened in Woodside Plantation and affects residents on Steeplechase Road from West Pleasant Colony Drive to Anderson Pond Road.
