Whether it’s oil changes or maybe pest control, it can be hard to decide which company to trust with your business.
Have you ever wanted to rant about a business that is unprofessional or maybe you want to brag on one that's great? Now you've got your chance.
Wouldn't it be so easy if someone would just tell you who to call when something in your house like your air conditioner breaks?
A website new to the Augusta area does just that. It's called Angie's List and it can make your life easier as a consumer.
Whether it's your car, a plumber or even the right phone company, pretty soon, you'll be able to find that information out via www.angieslist.com.
Angie's List lets its members file reports about companies they use.
The reports can include the good, the bad and the ugly.
If they did a great job, you report that. If things didn't turn out quite how you'd like, you report that.
Then, as a member, you can check to see everyone's recommendations.
It's a website that Rick Busby says helps consumers a lot. "Not every business out there is honest. Most are, but there are some that aren't," he said.
And that can help ensure you get good work at a fair price for just about whatever you need.
The memberships are $50 for the first year. But the good news is that since Angie's List has just started in Augusta, the memberships are free for a year.
