An important part of your kitchen may pose an even bigger threat to your family's safety.
For the second in about 3 months, a major U.S. appliance company is recalling millions of dishwashers.
In February it was Maytag, this time it's G.E.
The U.S. Product Safety Commission says 2 and a half million dishwashers are being recalled by G.E. because of a fire danger.
Basically, the commission says there's a possibility of a leak that can lead to a fire.
The recall includes G.E. dishwashers sold between September 1997 through December 2001.
You should stop using them immediately and contact G.E. for a free repair or a credit that will help you buy a new one.
If you think your dishwasher might be affected, call 1-877-607-6395.
