You've known and trusted the name 12 On Your Side for years.
Now we're joining forces with an international non-profit team to help you even more.
The group is named Call For Action, and it's been helping thousands of people worldwide for more than 40 years.
Call For Action has been around since 1963, educating everyone about vital consumer issues ever since.
Now its international network will be working for you, courtesy of 12 On Your Side.
12 On Your Side has been working for you since 1997, helping with your problems and warning you about scams and frauds that might affect your family.
Up until now, it's been a team of two people taking your calls and emails.
But pretty soon, the name you've grown to trust is getting even better.
12 On Your Side is teaming up with a group called Call For Action.
"We help consumers and we help educate them," explains Call For Action's Shirley Rooker. "We help solve their problems. We're there to listen and lend a friendly ear, which is often difficult for consumers to find."
Call For Action is no small organization. 12 On Your Side will be one of 25 television and radio stations across the country and the world involved with the group.
Those stations are staffed with more than 1200 volunteers who respond to 225,000 calls every year.
What does that mean for you? Experience in helping resolve your issues.
"We know how to solve problems," Rooker said. "We know how to work effectively. We know how to deal with consumers and businesses."
And Call For Action won't just be a benefit to individuals and families. We're also there for small businesses.
In fact, when it comes to fraud, one third of fraud cases affect small businesses.
Some say they could always use more help finding out about scams and fraud.
"If it's something that's occurring locally, it would be nice to be able to anticipate that," said Karen Powell of Park's Pharmacy.
So, there you have it: that name you know, 12 On Your Side, is growing...and the goal is to be better able to work for you.
We want you to be a part of the Call For Action team. All you have to do is place a phone call to 1-800-647-1756 or click here and fill out the form.
