We're just two weeks into 2008 and the recalls continue. Both of these might be in the hands of your family, so let's get to the details.
First up is the My First Kenmore Play Stove. Around 17 thousand of these are being called back. The reason? The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there's a metal bracket on them connecting the door to the stove can cause it to tip over.
One child has already been hurt because of this.
They were sold at Sears and Kmart stores last September through December and cost around 100 dollars. You can go ahead and remove that bracket on your own or you can call 1- 800 659-7026 for more information.
Next up is the Cranium Cadoo Board Games.
Around 38 thousand of the popular games are being recalled because the surface paint on the die has excessive amounts of lead on it. Only the sets with lots numbers 2007195 through 2007244 are included in the recall. The rest are safe.
They were sold at several major retailers during the past 6 months for around 20 dollars. It's recommended you throw the die out and call 877 272- 6486 for more information on how to get a new one. You do not need to throw the whole game away.
