Augusta--It's happened to all of us, you try to to take care of business by phone, only to find yourself pushing buttons and listening to recordings.

There has to be a better way. It's called www.gethuman.com.

A website solely dedicated to one thing, helping you get off the automated hotline and get on the line with a real live person.

The website consists of company after company complete with phone numbers and instructions for how to get a human being on the phone to talk to.

There are even some tips on the website for how you can have a better experience with companies in general.

Either way, give it a try if sitting on hold and listening to an automated system makes you want to pull your hair out.

Just click on the following link:

Hi Henry, Melissa Tune is currently in training to become a Lt. Colonel in the US Army. She's at Fort Leavenworth. She will be returning once her training is complete. Meredith Anderson is anchoring News 12 This Morning until the new morning anchor arrives. After that, she will take her spot anchoring the 6 and 11 o'clock news.
