Edwins says he darted away from her. Wanting to find him so bad, she says she went online and found the pet locator website Findtoto.com.

The online pet finder service makes automated calls to homes within a radius of where your pet disappeared. It works similar to the Amber Alert system for missing children.

Edwins says someone living near Walton Way in Augusta called her and told her that she had found Snuggles and was feeding him for a few days until they realized he matched the description on the flier.

Edwins says she has gotten Snuggles micro chipped in case he wanders off again. But unfortunately, her other missing pooch named Bear is still out there somewhere. He disappeared in the Belvidere area. He is a black Shih-Tzu and Pekinese mix.

And in case you have not heard, News 12 has a service to help you find missing pets too. It is located in the "find it" section. Be sure to post a picture, phone number and contact name along with any other information.
