Military appreciation night at Riverhawks game helps fill the stands (WRDW-TV, February 19, 2012)

Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012

AUGUSTA, Ga. --The Augusta RiverHawks will host Family Night in honor of Fort Gordon soldiers and their families on Sunday.

The RiverHawks will take on the Knoxville Ice Bears at the James Brown Arena at 4:35 p.m.

The team will be wearing specialty patriotic jerseys, which will be auctioned following the game.

Several hundred soldiers are scheduled to be there with the Fort Gordon Color Guard.

Fort Gordon Garrison Commander Colonel Robert A. Barker will be present to drop the puck for the opening ceremony.
