GROVETOWN, Ga.---Members of the military, both active and retired and from all branches, are battling it out on Clarks Hill Lake this week.

It's part of the 21st annual American Bass Anglers Military Team Bass Championship tournament. Anglers from all five branches of the military are competing for great prizes.

It's a team effort that many of the anglers look forward to every year.

"One of the nicest things about this tournament is so many of these guys served together and they look so forward one time a year coming back together and seeing their friends," said Debra Talley, National Marketing Director for Bass Anglers.

"I like the camaraderie, it's the same close knit bunch of guys in general that I travel with from Jacksonville, FL. They're all retired Navy and U.S. Air Force guys," added Mark Williams who is competing from Cocoa Beach, Florida.

The tournament is going on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Wildwood Park. It's all free.
