HUD gives more than $111,000 in grants to help local homeless veterans

The Department of Housing and Urban Development is issuing $50 million dollars in grants to help homeless vets.

More than $111,000 in grant money will be given to the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. That money will be used to help homeless veterans find affordable housing as well as give them clinical and supportive services.
