AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Georgia veterans will be seeing changes in the design of their driver's licenses and state identification cards soon.

The Department of Driver Services unveiled the new design in Atlanta on Monday.

The design incorporates a waving American flag next to the cardholder's date of birth and puts the word veteran in a larger font size and bolded red ink.

Veterans are able to get licenses for free. Click here for more information.
