AUGUSTA, Ga.---The president of Summerville Neighborhood Association tells News 12 the sale of the Partridge Inn has been postponed until September.
He said it's unlikely that ownership will change and that they would still be operating as a hotel. The president added that another LLC is ready to buy the property, but they are waiting on proper licenses.
The hotel's parent company had defaulted on a $16 million bank note. The foreclosure sale was originally scheduled for Tuesday.
The Partridge Inn celebrated 100 years on the hill in Augusta in 2010.
