NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- The information on funeral services for a beloved local doctor has been released.
Dr. Walter Watson is a legend in the greater Augusta area and delivered over 15,000 babies during his years in the medical profession. Watson died at the age of 102 on Wednesday.
Watson's visitation is tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church.
His funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church.
Rev. James D. Dennis Jr., Dr. John M. Younginer, Dr. Randy Cooper, Rev. Joe Lusk and Rev. John Newell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
