NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- The Richmond County Fire Department has successfully rescued two people from a boat in the Savannah River.
Dispatch says the man called in when his boat started taking on water. We're told there are no injuries.
The incident happened in the Horse Creek area, just off the Savannah River. It's not far from the Palmetto Parkway.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will be coming out to retrieve the boat.
