Children across Georgia have access to free meals this summer

ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) announced free meals are available throughout the state for eligible children and some adults.

Low-income areas are provided with food for children 18 years and under as part of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

More than 60 percent of Georgia’s school-aged children are eligible for free or reduced lunch.

The Summer Food Service Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agricultural and administered in Georgia by DECAL.
