ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) -- See a pothole that needs to be filled?
There's an app for that.
Alpharetta officials have launched a new system for reporting
minor hazards using a free application for smart phones.
It's called SeeClickFix and it lets residents flag the location,
take a picture of the offense and notify the city of the problem.
The complaint appears on the city's Web site with a time stamp.
It started in mid-June and so far, residents have submitted 31
separate complaints. Officials say more than half have been
resolved.
Alpharetta is the only city in metro Atlanta signed up to the
system.
