ALLENDALE, S.C.-- 15 soldiers from the 266th Quartermaster Detachment returned to the Allendale National Guard Center after 12 months in Iraq.

Specialist Darryl White says he prayed everyday and this is a moment he just can't describe.

"It was just nice to come home seeing my family. That's all I can say."

It's been more than a year since 6 year old Kennedi White saw her dad. She's happy he's back and she's up for a challenge. Dad says she needs to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels.

Her response to being scared, "Yeah!"

Cristie White is ready to just hug and never let her husband Darryl go.

"I'm just joyed, speechless, glad and just thank God they made is back."

Bit it wasn't easy for Cristie. She spend many nights crying, thinking of her husband and the danger.

"Everytime you turned on the news you hear of a soldier dying and you're just wondering if it's your soldier."

And it wasn't just Cristie. Pearlie Mae-Franklin worried everyday about her husband Sergeant Herman Franklin.

"Just thank God for having him here and being able to come back."

8 year old Shawn Hammonds is excited to see his dad again and be able to do what he missed the most.

"Riding around with him."

As for Herman, he couldn't be happier to be back.

"I'm glad I'm back. Thank God to be able to come home to my family once again for the second time."

First Sergeant Ronnie Jackson feels great to be back home and has hope for the future.

"I hope we complete the task so the rest of them can come back home."
