Local Firefighters In Charleston
Firefighters from Richmond, Columbia and Aiken counties are in Charleston this morning for memorial services to remember the nine firefighters killed in a fire at a furniture store Monday.
The first of the funerals is also planned for later today in Charleston.

Local Funeral Home Remembering Firefighters
A local funeral home is also putting up a memorial to honor the lives of the nine fallen firefighters.
Sunday, a memorial wall goes on display in North Augusta.
It will be at Posey Funeral Home on Georgia Avenue.
There will also be a memory book you can sign for the families in Charleston.

Columbia County Safety Alert
12 is on your side this morning with safety alert in Columbia County.
Authorities are warning folks in the Harlem and Grovetown areas about a couple in a light colored van, posing as carpet cleaners.
They are suspected burglars.
If you see them, do not answer the door and call 911.

Deputy Close Call
2 Aiken County deputies have a close call while working a fatal accident on I-20.
The coroner says 65-year-old Franklin Neely was pronounced dead when his truck hit a semi on I-20.
Troopers say Aiken County Deputies were trying to direct traffic around the wreck when another driver hit one of the patrol cars.
That partol car then hit the one in front of it.
The deputies were able to escape, but it's a reminder that you need to slow down when you see flashing lights.

Carjacking Suspects Still Sought
Investigators in North Augusta are looking for 2 carjackers.
Investigators in Richmond County are also looking for one.
Gary Lee Murphy is wanted for stealing two cars.
He's a registered sex offender.
