ALLENDALE, S.C. (WRDW) -- Officials have confirmed that the boil water advisory in Allendale has been lifted.
This comes after a large water main break left residents without water over the weekend.

ALLENDALE, S.C. (WRDW) -- Officials in Allendale say the earliest the boil water advisory could be lifted is Wednesday.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control will be conducting tests in the area after a 6-inch water main break caused a water outage over the weekend.

ALLENDALE, S.C. (WRDW) -- The town of Allendale now has water, according to the town's Water and Sewage Department.
Officials say the outage happened around 9 a.m. and was caused by a 6-inch water main break. The town was without water for about five hours.
The department has announced a boil water advisory for the entire town for the next 24 hours.
