AIKEN, S.C. -- There will be a boil water advisory Wednesday near the new Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

Due to a tie-in of the new Cracker Barrel Restaurant to the city’s water main, there will be a boil water advisory on Whiskey Road from Sharyn Lane to Brookhaven Drive on Wednesday starting at 9 a.m.

The water will be off for approximately four hours while the connection is being made. As a precaution, the water department is advising that water should be boiled prior to use until mid-afternoon on Thursday.
