The boil water advisory has been lifted.

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW) -- A boil water advisory has been issued for the Beech Island Rural Community Water District after a water main break.

Residents who live between Dixie Clay Road in Warrenville to Storm Branch Road in Beech Island are affected.

Officials recommend that water is boiled for at least one minute before cooking or drinking for the next 24 hours.
