AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The board for Georgia Health Sciences Health System and Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center has voted to approve changing the names of its hospitals.
The legal names have not been changed at this time.
The system's name has been changed to Georgia Regents Health System, with the adult hospital becoming Georgia Regents Medical Center.
The Georgia Health Sciences Children's Medical Center will be known as the Children's Hospital of Georgia.
Logos will be released at a later date.
