Carrot juice linked to botulism poisoning

October 9, 2006

Investigators are blaming bottled carrot juice for botulism poisoning.

A Florida woman has been hospitalized since September and remains unresponsive.

The CDC also says three people from Georgia also experienced respiratory problems after drinking the carrot juice.

Investigators believe the botulism toxin came from bottled juice sold by Bolthouse Farms.
