60-year-old Patricia Cary of Columbia died Sunday night, April 16 when her car crashed into a tractor-trailer. It happened just before the Washington Road exit going eastbound about a half-mile away from the Warren Road bridge.

Lane closure on Scott Nixon

The Burke County woman accused of killing her husband faces a judge Tuesday. Back in August of 2004, police say Amy Walden killed Clint Walden, then concealed his death, hiding it from family for at least three days.
