AYNOR, S.C. (AP) -- An Aynor police officer has been fired after authorities say he offered to tear up a traffic ticket if a woman he pulled over lifted her shirt.

State Law Enforcement Division agents arrested 24-year-old Bradley Jordan on Thursday and charged him with misconduct in office.

Investigators say Jordan pulled over a woman on a traffic charge last week. She complained that Jordan asked her to show her breasts to get out of the charge within an hour of the stop.

Aynor Police Chief Bubba Thompson says Jordan was suspended immediately and fired Wednesday.

A listing for Jordan could not be found and it wasn't known if he had a lawyer. He faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if he is convicted.
