ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities in Rock Hill say a man free on bond on a number of charges is back in jail after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and assaulted her.
The Herald of Rock Hill reports that police said 29-year-old William Kyle Fields stood on a trash bin to climb onto a roof then swung into a second-floor window at the home Friday morning.
Officers found Fields and arrested him, charging him with rape, burglary and violation of a no contact court order. Fields had previously been facing robbery, drug and domestic violence charges.
Fields is in jail under $200,000 bond, and Rock Hill Municipal Court Solicitor Anna Miller told Judge Ray Long that she would move next week to have Fields' bond revoked on the previous case.
