MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Police in Macon are searching for two gunmen who might have dressed as sheriff's deputies during an armed robbery.

Police issued a lookout early Thursday morning for the pair. They're wanted in connection with an armed robbery late Wednesday in the central Georgia city.

The Telegraph of Macon reports that both men were reportedly wearing Bibb County Sheriff's Office uniforms over their clothing.

The men are believed to be driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle with chrome rims and shiny trim.

Few other details on the robbery were immediately available.
