JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (AP) -- Police in metro Atlanta say four people, including two children, have been found dead inside an apartment in a possible murder-suicide.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that police went to the apartment in Johns Creek early Monday afternoon after a co-worker requested a welfare check. Johns Creek Police Chief Ed Densmore says it appears to be a murder-suicide.
Police said the bodies of two adults and two boys, ages 5 and 12, were discovered in the ground-floor apartment.
The identities of the dead and the cause of death were not immediately released.
Densmore says the homicides are the city's first since it was incorporated in 2006.
