WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say a 46-year-old farm laborer has been killed in a tractor accident in northeast Georgia.
Oconee County Coroner Ed Carson said Mario A. Carranza was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident Tuesday in the Farmington community of Oconee County.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports the tractor Carranza was operating overturned on a hill where he was cutting grass. The coroner said he appeared to have died from internal injuries.
