ST. MATTHEWS, S.C. (AP) -- The Calhoun County coroner says a 21-year-old woman on her way to a wedding has died in a crash that threw her and two others from a truck.
The Herald of Rock Hill reports (http://bit.ly/15tjVeH) Coroner Donnie Porth said 21-year-old Sara Ann Comer of Hickory Grove died from internal injuries suffered in Saturday morning's crash. The driver and other passenger were hospitalized.
S.C. Highway Patrol Sgt. Bob Beres said the pickup truck the three were in veered off the right side of a road and swerved several times before it hit several trees and overturned.
Porth said none of the three was wearing seat belts, adding that they had stopped in Calhoun County to visit a friend.
A Clemson University spokeswoman said Comer was a senior studying agricultural education.
