One person dead after motorcycle and truck accident

AIKEN CO., S.C. (WRDW) --
One person is dead after an accident involving a truck and motorcycle on Huber Clay Rd.
The Aiken County Coroner's Office confirmed 59 -year-old Daniel Favors was killed in the accident.

Authorities say the Favors along with his wife Kathy were riding their 1993 Harley Davidson when they were struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Truck coming out of the Aiken Landfill Thursday afternoon around 4:30pm.

The truck pulled unto the right shoulder of the road attempted a U turn and struck the motorcycle.
Daniel and Kathy Favors, the driver of the truck, his passenger were all taken to the hospital.

Daniel Favors was pronounced dead at the hospital.
His wife Kathy is in critical but stable condition.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
