CLARKSTON, Ga. (AP) -- Transit officials say a bus driver was stabbed on the job in metro Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports a MARTA bus driver was stabbed as he drove along his route Friday morning in Clarkston -- east of Atlanta.

Officials say the driver was taken to the Atlanta Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

MARTA officials say a suspect has been taken into custody but charges have not yet been filed.
