ATLANTA (AP) -- Bond has been denied for a 21-year-old man who was arrested in a shooting at Morehouse College Friday night.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Amir Obafemi, a student at nearby Clark Atlanta University, was arrested Saturday on charges of aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon at school.
Police say Obafemi shot a Morehouse student in his forearm during a dispute over a game of pick-up basketball.
Clark Atlanta President Carlton Brown says Obafemi has been suspended while authorities investigate the shooting.
Brown says Clark Atlanta University is cooperating with Morehouse campus police in the investigation. It is unclear if Obafemi has a lawyer.
