CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say five school children were treated and released from local hospitals after a small truck and a school bus collided in suburban Charleston.
Charleston police say the wreck happened about 8:30 a.m. Friday and the collision left the bus on its side.
The driver of the truck and the bus driver were also taken to the hospital. Police said none of the injuries were life threatening.
Police spokesman Charles Francis says the school bus driver has been ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
