Early this morning, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Brown Road in the Hephzibah area.
Officers say that around 1 a.m., 25-year-old Jason Myers of Hephzibah was driving over 100 miles per hour when he went around a curve and barely missed hitting a deputy's car.
Residents say they see wrecks in the area often.
"They need signs or speed bumps or something in here," said Shannon Cray, who lives near where the accident occurred.
Myers crossed into the opposite lane and was thrown over a fence.
