Augusta commissioner Keith Brown is facing residency challenges on both sides of the Savannah.
The Aiken County Registration and Elections Commission is asking prosecutors to investigate whether Brown illegally voted in South Carolina in the 2004 general election.
Alvin Mason has filed to run for the District 4 seat. Just yesterday, he filed a complaint with the Board of Elections, claiming Brown is not eligible to serve on the commission because he has not lived in Georgia for at least two years.
