KIAWAH ISLAND, SC--

The Coast Guard and a crew were still working Thursday to save an 80-foot fishing boat stuck on the South Carolina coast.

The boat broke loose from its anchorage last Friday and ran aground at Kiawah Island beach.

The crew tried to make the boat lighter by removing cargo and fuel. Then they used floats around the hull. Neither work.

High tide couldn't free the vessel either. Now they may try to put some big rollers under it and try to move it that way.

The Coast Guard and the boat owner were still talking late Wednesday about who will pay for all the work.
