GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Law officers from around the Southeast are gathering in South Carolina this week to talk about the region's drug problems.

Agents from across the region are gathering in Greenville on Thursday to participate in the Southern States Investigator's Meeting.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is sponsoring the seminar. SLED Director Reggie Lloyd says this year's meeting will focus on the growing methamphetamine problem.

Officials from more than a dozen agencies in the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama are expected to attend the seminar, as well as agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
