MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say the second biker weekend in May along the Grand Strand is off to a deadly start with three deaths in wrecks in two days.

Investigators say a man and his female passenger have been killed after he lost control of his motorcycle in Myrtle Beach and crashed into a car. The wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. 17 Business. The identities of the victims have not been released.

Authorities say 46-year-old Andre Price of Lumberton, N.C., died Thursday when a driver didn't yield and his motorcycle crashed into it in Myrtle Beach. Troopers say the driver did not stop and has not been located.

The Atlantic Beach Bikefest is going on this weekend. It is the second major motorcycle rally along the Grand Strand in May.
