Three pro golfers helped with a special tournament Monday.
Vaughn Taylor, Charles Howell, and Jim Dent hosted the annual Adaptive Golf Clinic and Tournament, sponsored by Walton Rehabilitation Health Systems.
Teams made of three able-bodied golfers and one with a different ability headed out to play eighteen at Augusta Municipal Golf Course.
"It was really formed out of a community request, because these golfers really wanted to have an avenue to play a tournament just like everybody else," said Leslie Calsey, Director of the Walton Foundation.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit an overnight summer camp for children and young adults with brain injuries, and also Blaze Sports Augusta, which offers sports opportunities for people with disabilities.
