For the second time in less than a week, a Columbia County deputy has been arrested, this time for a traffic accident.

Reports say early Tuesday morning Douglas Arthur Buono was in a traffic accident on Washington Road.

A truck was abandoned there after it had crashed into several parked vehicles.

Deputies found out the truck belonged to Buono.

Buono was found on Gordon Highway. He was arrested for hit and run, DUI and driving too fast for conditions.

Buono was released on a $3300 bond.
