Lost dog tags returned to Vietnam vet 30 years later

An incredible story for a Vietnam veteran who lives in Augusta.

Lamar Jackson served with the Army's First Cavalry Division in Vietnam in the early 1970’s.

He lost his dog tags while serving.

Now thanks to the mother of an Illinois state senator, he has them back.

They were presented to him this morning at the Augusta Uptown VA.

The senator's mother found them at a marketplace in old Saigon.
