Nine people were arrested yesterday after a two-month undercover investigation by the Aiken County sheriff's office.
The arrests came around 9 Thursday night.
Cocaine, marijuana and guns were confiscated during three simultaneous searches of homes in Aiken.
Joshua Smith was arrested at 830-A Eastern Place and charged with having marijuana.
Investigators also went into 155 Weaver Street. There, they arrested Christopher Blocker, Melvin Chandler, Ralwek Hamilton, D'Herrell Herin, James McKevie, and James Prather. All were charged with various drugs crimes, like possessing marijuana and cocaine.
Then, investigators arrested Chaunequka Conley and Alex Gilchrest at 104 Brown Lane. Both were charged with possession of marijuana.
The eight men and one woman arrested are being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
