First black South Carolina US attorney sworn in

A milestone in South Carolina.

Reginald Lloyd was sworn in today.

He becomes the first black person to serve permanently as South Carolina's US attorney since reconstruction.

The 39-year-old Camden native was sworn in at the Ernest F. Hollings National Advocacy Center in Columbia.
