Convicted embezzler dies

A man convicted along with Robin Williams and Duncan Fordham in a scheme to steal money from the Community Mental Health Center has died.

Charles Brockman died Sunday morning after fighting cancer for 3 and a half years, according to his attorney.

Lawyer Jerry Froelich tells News 12 Brockman died at an Augusta hospital. He never served prison time for his conviction, though he'd been sentenced to 6 years.
