AUGUSTA, Ga.---It's something you'd expect to see in Florida...but this afternoon, an alligator drew quite a crowd to the Canal section of Walton Way. It was somewhere from six to eight feet long.

Animal Control officers were called to the scene. They believe the gator made its way down the Canal from 9th Street to Walton Way. Ultimately they decided to leave the gator in the Canal and let him come out on his own.

We can beat that! We had a 200 lb. black bear in our parking lot. The cub was located in a tree not too far from mother bear. RCSD has it treed by 4-H and waiting for her to fall out of the tree after being hit with 3 darts!!
