Former top educator Linda Schrenko fined
Former Georgia State School Superintendent Linda Schrenko has been fined $5,000 and forced to account for thousands of dollars in missing campaign money. Friday the State Ethics Commission fined Ms. Schrenko for failing to file a campaign disclosure report in the school superintendent's race and in Schrenko's unsuccessful attempt at the office of Governor last year. Ms. Schrenko also has 90 days to account for $20,000 in missing campaign money or pay that amount in addition to a fine.
